Lash Extensions

Hello Darlings!

After careful consideration and much thought, I gave in and decided to try lash extensions. I wanted the full experience from beginning to end (meaning I let these babies completely fall out on their own) before giving my honest opinion. Like most beauty trends, there are pros and cons with the extensions. One thing I can guarantee is definitely I felt pretty all day while my lashes were on. They really make a difference and most days you don't need makeup.

RED

Happy hump-day beauties!

I know it's been a moment since I've updated. My ring light took a fall and I had to replace the bulb *womp* the new bulb has finally arrived.

I recently decided to do something drastic without thinking it through (whats new) and lucky for me it worked out. After 4 years of dark brown hair I went RED! And not just any red, bright red. I'll admit- I was a little scared of the change because my hair is down to my waist and I have a hard time even letting anyone clip my ends (you know the struggle, when you tell them an inch and they cut 3). I knew I would have to bleach all of my hair in order to get the color I wanted and as worried as I was about damaging my hair, I did it anyway. As I usually do when I try something new for the first time, I'm going to tell you all about my crazy experience.

Clarifying Mud Mask

Hello lovelies

Yesterday for Mask Monday I posted a picture of a clarifying mud mask from the brand "Shea Moisture." I wasn't familiar with their products, but I decided to give it a try because one of my favorite beauty gurus suggested it and well, I can't resist a good face mask.. The mud mask is made of African black soap and contains tamarind extract and tea tree oil. Sounds interesting right? Its suppose to help with blemish prone skin by drawing out any dirt and build up, and it also helps to absorb excess oil. After a weekend of filming makeup tutorials my skin definitely needed a little TLC.

Purple Shimmer

Hi babes!

For this week's makeup look I wanted to try something different.. GLITTER! What a mess. It was my first time personally experimenting with pigment glitter and I pretty much got the stuff all over my face lol. The end result was beautiful, I used MAC's Irresistibly Charming Pigment and Glitter kit in purple (currently on sale for $26) and my favorite go-to palette at the moment, the Tartelette Amazonian Clay matte palette ($45). I'm going to list the products and pictures below.

September

Hello September!

Where has the year gone? I can't believe that in just a few months this year will be coming to an end. Next weekend I will be attending Generation Beauty, and I know I mentioned this before but I am soo excited! Not only will I get to meet some of my favorite beauty YouTubers, but the goodie bags we are receiving (one on each day from what I heard) are said to be the "best goodie bags ever" .. AH!  I'll have lots of skin care, hair products and makeup to review. This weekend I got a little creative with my eye makeup and went for smokey golden look with dramatic lashes. I'm going to list the products used below along with more pictures.

Browlash at Get Wet Fab 2016

Happy Monday babes!

This weekend I had the pleasure of attending FAB MIA's Get Wet Fab 2016 in support of my dear friend Ana from Browlash

I met Ana 2 years ago in Salon Vaso in Miami Beach after I was referred by a friend and she's been threading my eyebrows ever since. If there is one thing that I am extremely picky about it's my eyebrows! With that said, Ana is amazing at what she does (I literally have all my appointments booked for the entire year).

A few months ago I made an IG post about the Brow Powder Duo and til this day it is my everyday go-to product for filling in my brows.

Hello beauties, TGIF!

I can finally share with you all some exciting news! Last month, two of my beautiful fashion blogger friend's Juliana and Bianca attended a Bobbi Brown event and got an exclusive sneak peek at the new Sunset Pink Fall 2016 collection. You can imagine my excitement when I received a phone call with the great news that they were not only bringing home two bags full of goodies, but also sharing it all with me (true friends, they get me!). You guys, these products are beyond amazing and so beautiful. The highlighting powders are my favorite, but if you know me, I bet you already knew that hehe.

Damn Colourpop! Back at it again..

Hello lovelies!

Hope you're all having a great week so far. As for me, I'm currently getting everything ready for my trip to NY this Friday for IMATS! I'm excited beyond words and can't wait to show you all my IMATS haul next week.

Last month Colourpop released a new line of eyebrow products which includes 8 brow colour gel pots and 8 brow pencils. I decided to buy three shades (the most commonly used on my clients) of the brow pencil to test them out and so far I really like them! I own the ABH brow wiz and wasn't too fond of it, only because I usually prefer powder products when it comes to brows, so i'm surprised I like these pencils as much as I do (I've been using Bangin' Brunette on myself all week). The brow pencils run for $5 each, and the brow gel are $6 each, both formulas are long lasting, water resistant and contain vitamin E. Personally, I think these are great dupes for the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade ($18) and the brow wiz ($21). I will definitely be ordering the brow pencils in the remaining shades.. They're very easy to use, look natural, and you can't beat Colourpop prices!

Ciao bellas,
Stepher

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea

Happy Friday Dolls!

A few weeks ago I put my Sephora points to use and got these beautiful samples from the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea collection. Tarte's packaging never disappoints. Its always so colorful and fun, which is one of the reasons they are one of my top favorite brands. Last night I used the deep dive cleansing gel and I absolutely love it! All of your makeup comes right off  (literally melts off ) and your face feels so soft and refreshed. I also used the marine boosting 4-in-1 mist to hydrate my skin and really enjoyed it. I'm a toner/hydrating spray junkie (I use eau de roma toner from LUSH as part of my daily face cleanse routine, and this has a similar feel) so this was right up my alley. It has a fresh orangey citrus scent but isn't overwhelming, and the best part about it is that you can use it as a primer, setting spray, hydrating mist or a skin refresher. Yass Tarte! Loving all of it.
