Clarins 2016 Spring Collection

Hello and welcome to my new blog! I am so excited to announce that I will be posting product reviews, makeup looks and more. I'm still getting the hang of this, so please bare with me as I finish setting everything up.

Today i'm going to be reviewing some products from Clarins 2016 spring collection that my friend Juliana from afashionsoiree received , as well as posting pictures of this fun look I created for her.

For this look, we used Clarins UV PLUS anti-pollution sunscreen / multi protection tint as a foundation. I really love that this product is oil-free, SPF50, and has a lightweight finish so it's perfect for those days when you don't want to wear heavy makeup and still need a little tint.

For her cheeks, I used Clarins Multi-Blush in the shade "Rose" and this is a cream based blush. This was my first time using a cream blush and I have to say, it worked pretty great and the color was beautiful. It also has a long lasting effect which is definitely a plus.

On her eyes, I tried to use all 3 colors but being that they are all shimmery, the silver plum and silver pink blended in together and looked very similar. The look I was going for was silver plum on the inner and outer corners, silver pink on the middle of the lid, and silver ivory in the tear duct/ inner corner of the eye. These eye shadow's are absolutely beautiful, they are a cream to powder formula and very pigmented. Highlight used is Champagne pop by Jaclyn Hill and Becca Cosmetics (so in love with this product), and the lashes we used are number 43's.

For her lip, we of course had to try out all of these lovely Clarins shades, so I will post the name of each color below the pictures.

Lip color: Clarins #26 Rose Praline

Lip color: Clarins #24 Pink Cherry

Lip color: Clarins #23 Hot Rose

Lip color: Clarins #25 Pink Blossom

Hope you guys enjoyed my first post! If you have any questions about this look or any of the products used, leave me a comment below <3
