RED

Happy hump-day beauties!

I know it's been a moment since I've updated. My ring light took a fall and I had to replace the bulb *womp* the new bulb has finally arrived.

I recently decided to do something drastic without thinking it through (whats new) and lucky for me it worked out. After 4 years of dark brown hair I went RED! And not just any red, bright red. I'll admit- I was a little scared of the change because my hair is down to my waist and I have a hard time even letting anyone clip my ends (you know the struggle, when you tell them an inch and they cut 3). I knew I would have to bleach all of my hair in order to get the color I wanted and as worried as I was about damaging my hair, I did it anyway. As I usually do when I try something new for the first time, I'm going to tell you all about my crazy experience.

Clarifying Mud Mask

Hello lovelies

Yesterday for Mask Monday I posted a picture of a clarifying mud mask from the brand "Shea Moisture." I wasn't familiar with their products, but I decided to give it a try because one of my favorite beauty gurus suggested it and well, I can't resist a good face mask.. The mud mask is made of African black soap and contains tamarind extract and tea tree oil. Sounds interesting right? Its suppose to help with blemish prone skin by drawing out any dirt and build up, and it also helps to absorb excess oil. After a weekend of filming makeup tutorials my skin definitely needed a little TLC.
