Guess what today is? My little baby blog's SECOND birthday! I can't believe its already been two years since I started this makeup blog which has now become a sort of travel blog? Time flies.

Aright, ready to pick up where I left off and next up on the list is Chicago. It was my first time visiting and when I bought the tickets (sometime towards the end of last year), I didn't realize that I would be going during winter time and well, winter anywhere other than Miami means freezing cold temperatures. It just so happened that a snow storm decided to hit Chicago the same weekend I was traveling, fun right? After two cancelled flights and one seriously delayed flight, we made it and had a great time- snow storm, failed plans and all.

Cartagena, Colombia

Hello hello,

I'm back from Chicago and all caught up with older trip blogs. I'm ready to share my Cartagena experience and pictures with you all. I hope you enjoy this post <3

Museum of Ice Cream Miami

As soon as MOIC announced the opening of a fourth installation in Miami, my girls and I were ready to order tickets. We bought them during pre-sale but didn't get an available date until January! Yup. I had to patiently wait through the month of December. The day finally came and it was worth the wait- I swear it felt like I was in an ice cream version of Barbies Dream House.

NYC for GenBeauty 2017

If you read my previous post, by now you know that I'm catching up on old blog posts I never got around to writing.

Next up on the list is NYC for GenBeauty 2017. GenBeauty was also in September (about two weeks after MIA Festival). This post is going to be shorter and less detailed than my previous GenBeauty post because I took less pictures and didn't take the pictures of the products from my goodie bag (sorry). This was my second year going to the event and I had  high expectations after 2016's event. I'm not quite sure what it was but for some reason I didn't enjoy it as much as the year before. All that aside- I went with my girl and it was her birthday weekend so we had a blast.

Philadelphia for Made In America Festival '17

As promised, I'll be posting pictures from my trip to Philadelphia this past September. I went specifically for Made In America Fest but also spent a little time walking around and exploring the city.

Just in case you're wondering why all my food pictures are watermarked with "themiafoodie"- it's because that's the handle for my food IG :)

Day 1

I'm back!

Hello lovelies!

Checking in to let you all know I'm going to be uploading a few (late) blog posts I owe ya.

Life happened and well, I never got around to posting my trips to 1- Philly for Made in America Festival, and 2- NYC for GenBeauty 2017. I just got back from Cartagena and took soo many pictures- totally got me in the mood to keep up with my blog. Since sort of abandoning this page, I started a food blog and it took up the little bit of "creative / free time for a hobby" I have. I also started school again last August so you can imagine. I clearly like having a lot on my plate lol.

I'll start working on those post's as soon as possible. I'm going to Chicago in 2 weeks so that means more pictures and another post soon :)
