Museum of Ice Cream Miami

As soon as MOIC announced the opening of a fourth installation in Miami, my girls and I were ready to order tickets. We bought them during pre-sale but didn't get an available date until January! Yup. I had to patiently wait through the month of December. The day finally came and it was worth the wait- I swear it felt like I was in an ice cream version of Barbies Dream House.

Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) is a pop up museum located across the Faena in South Beach. You can purchase your $38 ticket online for a set entry time. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a very friendly and energetic staff.

The first room and entrance is full of fun ice cream facts,  even comes equipped with an ice cream fortune teller who reads you your (ice cream) fortune and sends you on your way. We started off the tour in the sprinkle pool, and this is the only room where you're timed. Luckily for us it was empty and we were able to stay in there a little longer than the 3 minute time frame (got to take all our pictures and even a few extra with no rush)
PS: be prepared to find sprinkles in everything once you get home. I wore a dress, and lets just say I found surprise sprinkles all over the house for the next few days.

We spent a good 2 hours walking our way through the rooms- taking as many pictures and boomerangs as we desired (again, the staff is great and don't mind taking pictures for you). I’ve heard a few people complain that this isn’t a “real museum” and honestly, it’s all about expectation. I saw enough pictures and knew what I was in for. It was everything I expected and I had a great time.

The treats included the following:
chocolate milkshake topped w/ pink whipped cream and a pink cherry
mini chocolate covered bananas (my favorite)
melted ice cream (basically a shake)
unlimited candy bar
key lime ice cream

I'll be posting some pictures that you've probably seen seen on my IG, and some that I didn't post. You can also see more videos and fun boomerangs on my MOIC story highlight :)
